Kaldarshi has no account, no ads and no analytics. It does not send anything about you to me or to anyone else. Everything it remembers stays on your phone.
What the app uses
- Your location, if you allow it. Kaldarshi can use your phone's location once, when you ask it to find your place, to work out sunrise, sunset and moonrise times. The coordinates are used on your device and are never transmitted. You can instead pick a city from a list and never grant location permission.
- Your choices. Your language, your chosen place, your recent searches and a copy of the calendar are saved on your device so the app works without internet.
What the app does not do
- It does not ask you to create an account or give a name, email address or phone number.
- It does not show ads and contains no advertising SDK.
- It does not use analytics, crash reporting or tracking of any kind.
- It does not share data with third parties, because it does not collect any to share.
Deleting your data
Everything is on your device. Clearing the app's storage in your phone's settings, or uninstalling the app, deletes it. There is nothing held on a server for me to delete.
Children
Kaldarshi is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this ever changes, for example if a feature needs a server, this page will be updated before the app is, and the date above will change.
